Anders Rylander has an MSc in Mechanical Engineering with specialties in Industrial Economics and Management from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology. He has been a management consultant for more than 15 years, at companies such as Accenture and Andersen Consulting. Anders co-founded Axholmen, a management consulting firm that focuses on improving the operational efficiency of large corporations in the Nordic market. He also founded Arinvest, a private equity investment firm investing in the clean-tech and life science business areas.
Cecilia holds a LLM and BSc in Business Administration from Stockholm University. She has held several CFO positions in life-science, private equity, research and telecom companies. Cecilia joined Biovica in 2016. She also serves as Chairman of Adom AB and is a board member of Acreo Swedish ICT AB.
Karin Mattsson, Ph.D.R&D Director
Karin received a Master’s degree in molecular biology from Uppsala University and a PhD in cell and tumor biology from the Karolinska Institute. She has more than 20 years’ experience of working within academic research and the biomedical industry. She has held various technical and managerial positions within in research and development and has significant experience of in-vitro diagnostic assay development. Previously, Karin served as Product Development Manager and Deputy Head of R&D at Olerup SSP, a company that develops, manufactures and markets molecular diagnostic products.
Mattias BergqvistVP Marketing and Clinical Development
Mattias holds a BSc in Marketing and has worked for Biovica since 2012. During his more than 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in the field of oncology, he has been Nordic Marketing Director in Specialty Care and Oncology at AstraZeneca and worked in the Global Marketing Division at AstraZeneca UK.
Christina AnderssonOperations Manager
Christina is a qualified clinical chemist. She has long experience in several areas of biotechnology, including production, sourcing, and quality assurance and control. Before joining Biovica, she worked for IDEXX Scandinavia, where she was responsible for production and sourcing.
Johanna FarisRegulatory and Quality Assurance Director
Johanna has broad experience of quality and regulatory assurance within the medical device industry. She has previously worked as a quality and regulatory consultant at Knightech, where she established quality systems within both ISO 13485 and QSR standards, as well as with regulatory submissions and product registrations worldwide. Before joining Biovica, Johanna was quality assurance and regulatory affairs manager at Fiomi Diagnostics AB, where she led the development and implementation of a certified quality system.
Gabriel SackBusiness Development Manager
Gabriel holds an MSc in Industrial Economics and Management specialized in Biotechnology from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology. He joined Biovica in 2013.
